The journey continues for Nuage as the Russian beatsmith proudly unveils his superb debut EP on the coveted Microfunk Music. A sophisticated bouquet of audible delight from across the electronic spectrum, the ‘Romantic OD’ EP is a 5-piece wonder showcasing Nuage at his very best. Featuring the Microfunk commander-in-chief Bop, expect a world of ambient-jungle crossed with lo-fi electronica with sprinklings of everything in-between.

The adventure begins with an ‘Undercover’ excerpt from Nuage. Guided by tribal breaks and an enchanting atmosphere, the composition unravels beautifully with a hypnotic vocal emerging before a blanket of melancholy enshrouds the track as it fades into completion.

Following suit, title track ‘Romantic OD’, featuring Bop & Omfeel, occupies a landscape of delicate texture and cosmic melody, with an overtone of ambient jungle. An unwavering piano line accompanying an intricate array of percussive exploration renders this broken-electronic creation a true wonder for the listener to behold. But the heart of this release beats further still, and we begin to feel the ‘Pulse Drops’ of Nuages astounding audible creation. A playful groove with many parts, the record’s tone rises like the sun, giving the EP a glimpse of the forthcoming spring.
